  3. “Institution” refers to the educational institution or organization that has implemented the Zero Cheating service for the purpose of maintaining academic integrity during online assessments.
  4. “Assessment Sessions” refers to the designated periods in which students are required to complete online exams or assessments using the Zero Cheating service.
  5. “Recorded Data” refers to the audio, visual, and other data collected by the Zero Cheating service during assessment sessions, which may include recordings of students taking exams and capturing their computer screens in a limited capacity, and for authentication purposes only.
  6. “Automated Processing” refers to the use of algorithms and computational techniques by the Zero Cheating service to analyze recorded data and generate additional information for the evaluation of student performance and conduct.

Data Collection

We collect information from you in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to:

  1. Personal Information: This may include your name, email address, and other identification-related information. Personal Information may be collected during registration or during the use of our Service.
  2. Technical Information: We may collect technical information such as your IP address, device type, operating system, and browser type. We also collect information about your activity on our Service, including pages visited, links clicked, and other behavior-related data.
  3. Recorded Data: We collect data during Assessment Sessions, which may include audiovisual recordings, screen captures, mouse movements, keystrokes, and other related data. This data is used for the purpose of proctoring online assessments and ensuring academic integrity.
  4. Automated Processing Data: We use Automated Processing on the Recorded Data to generate additional information related to student performance and conduct. This includes patterns of behavior, deviations from normal behavior, and other indicators of potential academic dishonesty.
  5. Other Information: We may collect other information as necessary to facilitate and optimize the Service, comply with legal obligations, and fulfill other purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

  3. In Business Transfers: In connection with a business deal (or potential business deal) such as a merger, acquisition, consolidation, sale of assets, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy, information about our users may be among the transferred assets.

Data Retention

We retain your Personal Information for as long as it is necessary and relevant for our operations. We also retain Recorded Data in accordance with legal, academic, and reporting obligations.
